INEC Reschedules Announcement Of Election Results

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has postponed the utterance of referendum results to Monday 25th February, 2019 by 11am.

The Chairman of the commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu made the utterance at the National Collation Centre in Abuja, moments ago.

The legation had through the unenduring meeting spoken that it had not rescheduled any referendum in any part of the country and Nigerians should condone any presidential referendum results utterance from any platform on the internet.

He said..’It has moreover come to our notice that some referendum “results” are circulating on the various social media platforms, Kindly condone such “results” as only INEC is constitutionally empowered to declare the outcome of the elections’.
